Orcas Hotel

The rooms were unique and recently refurbished with central heating and a private entrance. The view of the sea was magnificent. Location: the hotel was near to a restaurant, the ferry and the ocean view and all food places.

Limited amenities in the room. No television, phones, or hair dryers. Fresh water was only available on the first day, and the code for the outside doors didn't work , a bit of a hassle.

The jazz supper club on Monday was a hit, and the sun terrace was perfect for chilling out. The cafe on-site was convenient, though the food could be better. Just a heads up, some rooms can be noisy due to foot traffic above.

We had an enjoyable stay where the nearby ferry terminal allowed us easy access to explore fine islands while enjoying beautiful views from our window, making our mornings special with fantastic coffee on the lovely shared balcony.

The staff demonstrated excellent customer service, especially after accommodating my injury with extra care. Beautiful views complemented the pleasant atmosphere, and the fresh, delicious vegetarian options at the cafe stood out. Transportation options were limited without a car and the more formal dining room was closed .

The beautiful double room was super comfy and clean. Old furniture added charm, and the sea view was fine! It was quiet and perfect. I loved sitting on the balcony with my coffee too. But, watch out for the unexpected transportation issues if you don't have a car. It was a lovely stay!
